Pro. Dr. S.M. Monowarul Islam

Upon graduation from Dhaka Medical College Hospital, [I] attended the University of Tokyo, Department of Ophthalmology as a student in a PhD program. [I] obtained clinical training there as well. [I] obtained a PhD in Ubiquitin and in Neurogenetics of Uveitis. After qualification, [I joined] the same department as an associate. Then [I] served as a consultant in the Eye Unit in Riyadh. After 4 years, [I] returned to Bangladesh. I was promoted as Professor of Ophthalmology in 2012. [I] retired from Shahid Manzoor Ali Medical College in 2013.
